Free Tours Friday!

Did you know we offer free guided tours of our historic house every Friday? No need to book, just make yourself known to reception about 5 minutes before the tours begin.

Starting at 10.30am and 2.30pm every Friday, the tours leave from the atrium and last approximately 35 minutes. Our expert guide will introduce you to the key points in the Bar Convent’s fascinating history, show you stunning architecture from three centuries and tell you inspirational stories about the sisters who established an illegal convent and pioneered education for women.
